Water quality in Nalchik city water intake "Golovnoi"

This paper presents the results of research of sanitary and ecological state of water intakes of Nalchik (on the example of intake "Golovnoi"). As a result, the study of the intake permitted us to identify microbiological, organoleptic and generalized indicators. The results of the analysis of the state of the water intake source "Golovnoi" suggests that the water meets the state standards and there is no threat of negative influence to human health.
