Landslide processes in the village of Upper Kurkuzhin (Kabardin-Balkar republic)

The paper discusses the problems of landslide processes in the vicinity of Upper Kurkuzhin village, Baksan district. The article describes the research on the activation of landslide processes on economic objects (areal and linear) in the basin of the river Kurkuzhin, left tributary of the river Malka. Key activated landslide areas (right bank of river Kurkuzhin), and linear objects in the area of the landslides are denominated. According to the results of the inventory data the information on a number of landslide arrays was updated.
