Asymptotic behaviour of Green's function of the first boundary value problem

V. A. Rybalko

B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Khar'kov
Abstract: The first boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation in the domain external to the periodic structure of bodies is considered. The asymptotic behaviour of Green's function of this problem is studied when the period of the structure and the wave length are sufficiently small. It is shown that the structure of bodies can be replaced by the effective potential.
