Abstract:
A technique is developed to determine the force of impact of a spherical segment on an obstacle (dynamometer) during the martensite $\to$ austenite phase transition. An impact on an obstacle is shown to occur at certain ratios of the geometric parameters of a segment. A model is constructed for the dependence of the impact force on key parameters $D/R$ and $h/R$, and a separating function is obtained to divide spherical segments into the segments that flick with an impact on an obstacle and the segments that restore their shape without a clap and, correspondingly, an impact. A procedure is proposed to calculate the geometric parameters of a spherical segment $(D, h, R)$ at a given impact force $P_{imp}$ and to determine the impact force from the geometric parameters of a segment.
