Abstract: Mathematical simulation of electromagnetic fields is used to analyze the effect of parameters of thin conducting shields on the efficiency of suppression of magnetic induction. The effect of configuration of one- and two-layer shields on the induced current and the efficiency of shielding of the original magnetic field at industrial frequencies are studied. It is demonstrated that the efficiency of two-layer shields is higher in several cases.
