Surface density of the polarization charge of a magnetic fluid jet in a uniform electric field

Abstract: The behavior of magnetic fluid jets in electric and magnetic fields is investigated. A way of calculating the density of a charge forming on the jet’s surface is suggested, and a charge formation mechanism is put forward.
