Effect of carbon modifiers on the structure and wear resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene-based polymer nanocomposites

Abstract:
The structural modification of a polymer matrix during the introduction of polydispersed fillers and their effect on the structure and the wear resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene-based polymer composite materials are studied. It is found that nanosized fillers have a higher structural activity and more efficiently affect structure formation and increase the tribotechnical properties of the composite materials.
