Contact loss in the vicinity of cylindrical and spherical inclusions in a nanocomposite material

Abstract:
The loss of contact in the vicinity of cylindrical and spherical inclusions in a nanocomposite material is studied. The physical basis of the process is represented by the formation of free volume at the inclusion-matrix interface caused by a diffusion vacancy flux.
