Superdeep penetration revisited

Abstract:
The phenomenon of superdeep penetration of microparticles is absent in nature. Collapsed channels observed in Usherenko’s experiments are the adiabatic shear bands, which arise when fragments of the sheath of a charge hollow into which fine-grained powder is placed strike the obstacle.
