Holographic interferograms of interacting radial modes of a free piezoceramic disk resonator

Abstract:
Interacting radial modes constituting a single mode coexist upon electric excitation of thin barium titanate and lead zirconate titanate piezoceramic disks with a bulk electrode by a high-intensity signal at the antiresonance frequency. Vibrations of the surface are visualized using holographic interferometry.
