Abstract: The computer model of the autonomous adaptive agents, which have needs of food, reproduction, and safety, has been designed and analyzed. An agent has motivations; each motivation corresponds to certain need. Formation of chains of agent actions and cycles of agent behavior has been demonstrated at computer simulations.
Key words: model organisms, needs, motivations, reinforcement learning, formation of action chains.
