Abstract: Three new C₆₀(CF₃)₁₈ isomers have been synthesized by high-temperature trifluoromethylation of [60]fullerene with gaseous CF₃I, isolated by HPLC, and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation.
