Abstract: Methyl ether of racemic estrone, the long-known steroid, crystallizes in the form of a lamellar conglomerate. This form exhibits many properties of the ordinary conglomerates, however it requires special methods for the enantiomer separation due to pseudoracemic composition of the crystals.
