Abstract: New water-in-oil microemulsion, based on paraffin oil, polyglycerol polyricinoleate and Tween 80, has been formulated and used as encapsulation matrix for doxorubicin. Drug release features and in vitro cytotoxicity for the formulation has been evaluated.
