Molecular structure of noradrenaline according to gas-phase electron diffraction data and quantum chemical calculations

Abstract: The structures of two main noradrenaline conformers were determined using gas-phase electron diffraction. These conformers are stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the nitrogen atom of the amino group and hydrogen of hydroxyl group attached to an ethylamine carbon atom.
