Abstract: Macrocyclic antibiotic eremomycin was revealed to be capable of stabilizing gold nanoparticles, and these eremomycinstabilized nanoparticles can be consequently adsorbed on the sorbent surface at the selector content of 0.017 mmol g–1. Silica gel modified with the adsorbed nanoparticles and eremomycin demonstrated a high enantioselectivity towards amino acids. The best separation of enantiomers was achieved in the cases of tryptophan, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine and phenylalanine, the analysis time being less than 10min.
