Abstract: Regiospecific ribosylation of 3-polyfluoroalkyl-5-phenylpyrazoles with 1,2,3,5-tetra-O-acetyl-β-d-ribofuranose in the presence of tin(iv) chloride followed by deacetylation affords 1-(β-d-ribofuranosyl)-3-polyfluoroalkyl-5-phenyl- 1H-pyrazoles. These derivatives as well as starting pyrazoles were tested for anti-influenza activity.
