Abstract: The filamentary nanostructures of composition Ge0.91In0.09 were synthesized from the aqueous solution by electrolysis. It has been demonstrated that at the low current density, the reversible capacity of sodium insertion into the composition is about 590mAhg−1, which corresponds to Na1.73Ge0.91In0.09 alloy.
