Unprecedented polymeric trifluoroacetate palladium–silver complexes: π-complex with η2- and η4-coordinated toluene, as well as a unique seventeen nuclear palladium–silver trifluoroacetate
Abstract:
The first polynuclear heterodimetallic Pdii–Agi trifluoroacetate π-complex with Agi η2- and η4-coordinated molecules of toluene, namely, PdAg2(μ-TFA)4(η2-Tol)2(μ-η4-Tol)]n and [Pd2Ag4(μ-TFA)8(η2-Tol)2(μ-η4-Tol)]n (TFA = OCOCF3, Tol=toluene) as well as the unique seventeen nuclear Pdii–Agi trifluoroacetate complex Pd5Ag12(H2O)16(μ-TFA)8·7H2O have been synthesized. Their solid-state structure was determined by X-ray method.
