Abstract: The first polynuclear heterodimetallic Pdⁱⁱ–Agⁱ trifluoroacetate π-complex with Agⁱ η²- and η⁴-coordinated molecules of toluene, namely, PdAg₂(μ-TFA)₄(η²-Tol)₂(μ-η⁴-Tol)]_n and [Pd₂Ag₄(μ-TFA)₈(η²-Tol)₂(μ-η⁴-Tol)]_n (TFA = OCOCF₃, Tol=toluene) as well as the unique seventeen nuclear Pdⁱⁱ–Agⁱ trifluoroacetate complex Pd₅Ag₁₂(H₂O)₁₆(μ-TFA)₈·7H₂O have been synthesized. Their solid-state structure was determined by X-ray method.
