Abstract: Two novel uranyl-selenate oxysalts templated by the electroneutral 12-crown-4 and 15-crown-5 molecules are obtained from aqueous solutions under ambient conditions. The arrangement of organic molecules between the uranyl-selenate layers is provided only by means of protonated water molecule complexes.
