Abstract: Hydrogen storage materials including metal hydrides, carbon nanotubes, metal organic frameworks, and organic systems based on reversible hydrogenation–dehydrogenation cycles are compared in terms of the hydrogen storage capacity and the temperature required for storage and release of hydrogen.
