Abstract: Interaction of 2-hydroxy-9(10),16(17),23(24)-tri(tert-butyl)phthalocyanine with zinc acetate in the presence of lithium methoxide affords a stable J-type dimer. Its formation was simulated by density functional theory (DFT).
