Silicon analogues of pyramidane: a quantum-chemical study

Abstract: The DFT B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) calculations predict that Si5R4 (R = SiH3, SiMe3) compounds may have stable effectively pyramidal structures with a bare apical silicon atom.
