Mechanochemical synthesis of nanoparticles by a dilution method: optimization of the composition of a powder mixture

F. Kh. Urakaev

United Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Mineralogy, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation
Abstract: The suggested trimodal particle-size distribution in a mechanically activated system was used to calculate optimum molar ratios between mixture components that provided the existence of impact-frictional contacts between reagent particles and prevented the aggregation of nanoscale desired product particles; the theoretical results are in agreement with the available experimental data.
