Abstract: Novel terpenoid dimers linked through the E–E rings were synthesized by catalytic multicomponent condensation of amino derivatives of methyl maleopimarate with form-aldehyde and dimethyl-tetraazadecalin or tetraazaperhydro- tetracene. Primary screening of the synthesized terpenoid dimers for cytotoxic activity was performed.

Keywords: heterocyclization, maleopimaric acid, terpenoids, zeolite, polycycles, cytotoxic activity.
