Photochemical reactions of trimethylene sulfide radical cations in Freon matrices at 77K

Abstract:
Photobleaching (λ=436nm) of trimethylene sulfide radical cations (λmax≈460nm, ϵmax≈345dm3mol–1cm–1) stabilised in different Freon matrices at 77K results in the formation of distonic radical cations CH2CHSHCH2·+.
