Abstract: The complexes Ln·2L are formed from metal atoms at 4–30 K, whereas an increase in the metal concentration (M/Ar > 10−4) and temperature (80–210 K) results in the complexes 2Ln·2L (Ln = Sm, Eu; L = 4-pentyl-4’-cyanobiphenyl).
