Abstract: Numerous records in the chemistry of pheromones, juvenile hormone analogues (juvenoids), ecdysteroids, tocopherols and related compounds demonstrate the effectiveness and, in many cases, the uniqueness of ozonolysis in the synthesis of low-molecular biologically active compounds.
