Determination of ampicillin using the Belousov–Zhabotinskii oscillating system

Abstract: A new analytical method was developed for the determination of ampicillin by the perturbation of ampicillin to a Belousov– Zhabotinskii oscillating chemical system, which involves the CeIV-catalysed reaction between potassium bromate and malonic acid.
