Abstract: A strong dependence of physical properties on preparation conditions was found for the perovskite-like CaMn₃ – _xCu_xMn₄O₁₂ solid solution demonstrating a record negative magnetoresistance of –65% at 35 K in a field of 5 T, for x = 1.0.
