Abstract: Computational studies of the extent and nature of host–guest chiral discrimination in incommensurate 2-hydroxyalkane/urea inclusion compounds demonstrate a number of contrasting features between the 2-hydroxyalkane/urea inclusion compounds reported here and 2-bromoalkane/urea inclusion compounds reported previously.
