Abstract: Fluorinated derivatives of pyrido[2,3-b]- and pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoxalines 5–8 have been prepared through the condensation of 2-amino-3-cyano- and 2-amino-3-aminocarbonyl-substituted 6-fluoro-7-R-quinoxalines 1–4 with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and triethyl orthoformate, respectively.
