Chirality-directed co-crystallization of different configurationally opposite dialkyl 2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-3,6-dione-1,4-dicarboxylates

Abstract: The title procedure gives quasi-racemic optically active (CD) co-crystals of 4 (space group P21) and 5 of the 1:1 composition; in [CD(–)230]-4, molecules of (–)-1 and (+)-2 are joined by amide H-bonds into infinite linear zigzag tapes packed as infinite columns.
