Abstract: It has been demonstrated that fluorescence of gold nanoclusters formed via HAuCl4 reduction with citrate buffered solution in the presence of adenosine monophosphate can be tuned via addition of NaN3. No fluorescent products have been detected at large excess of NaN3, whereas at intermediate concentrations of NaN3 blue–green fluorescence has been gradually changed to yellow and weakened.
Keywords: gold, nanoparticles, nanoclusters, DNA, fluorescence.
