Abstract: It has been demonstrated that fluorescence of gold nanoclusters formed via HAuCl₄ reduction with citrate buffered solution in the presence of adenosine monophosphate can be tuned via addition of NaN₃. No fluorescent products have been detected at large excess of NaN₃, whereas at intermediate concentrations of NaN₃ blue–green fluorescence has been gradually changed to yellow and weakened.
