Abstract:
Reaction of [Cp*lr(CO)2] (Cp*=η5-C5Me5) with gaseous HCl leads to formation of the protonated ion, [Cp*lr(CO)2H]+, both in supercritical xenon solution and in a low density polyethylene film.
