Abstract:
The reaction of trans-[(PPh3)PtCI2]2 with AgOAc in HOAc gives the new tetranuciear complex [(PPh3)Pt(μ2-OAc)2(μ3-OAc)Ag]2, In which the Ag and Pt atoms are bonded by bridging bi- and tri-coordinated acetate ligands, according to single crystal X-ray data.
