Abstract:
Reaction of [Rh(C5Me5)(C5H5)]+ with KOBut in tetrahydrofuran gives [Rh(C5Me4CH2)(C5H5)]; it reacts readily with halides (R—X) to give [Rh(C5Me4CH2R)(C5H5)]X, which can be converted into [Rh2(C5Me4CH2R)2Cl4].
