Abstract:
The modern concept of green chemistry calls for the development of more environmentally benign synthetic protocols and a reduction in the use of auxiliary substances, including solvents. In this work the effect of a thiophosphoryl pendant arm on the cyclopalladation features of both symmetrical and unsymmetrical thiocarbamate pincer ligands was explored. The ligands were 1,3-bis(carbamoyloxy)-5-(diphenylthiophosphoryl)- or 1-carbamoyloxy-3-(diphenylthiophosphoryl)benzenes, the palladium source was (PhCN)2PdCl2.
