Phase diagrams of new lamellar liquid crystalline systems based on 2H NMR spectroscopy data

Abstract: Lyotropic liquid crystals based on cetylpyridinium chloride (or bromide) and n-hexanol were examined by NMR spectroscopy. The partial molecule ordering, residual dipolar couplings as well as the conditions (component concentrations and temperatures) under which lamellar phases exist were determined.
