Stochastic-deterministic simulation of hydrodynamics instability development at two-phase nonisothermal filtration
M. D. Noskov, A. D. Istomin Tomsk Polytechnic University
Abstract:
A stochastic-deterministic approach to simulation of nonisothermal two-phase flow through porous
media is considered. Numerical model is used to describe unstable development of temperature and
saturation fields during the displacement of cool liquid by hot liquid. Results of numerical investigation of liquid's specific heat, as well as flow rate and temperature of the displacing liquid effects on unstability development are reported.
