Steady-state flow of structured medium in a plane chanel

T. A. Khantuleva

St. Petersburg State University, Department of Mathematics and Mechanics
Abstract: A new approach to describe nonequilibrium flows of media with internal structure is developed. A collective interaction of finite size medium elements is taken into account by introducing of nonlocal space correlations. The problem on the determination of the typical correlation scales is formulated using nonlocal hydrodynamical equations with feedback in relaxation transport kernels. In scope of this approach a nonlocal generalization of the Poiseuille problem is analyzed. The obtained approximate solutions exhibit relations between the velocity profile, the velocity slip on the wall and the special correlation scales. The nonlocal model allows to determine scales and types of the medium internal structure.
