Modelling of the forced relaxation oscillations of gas in the channel with varying crosssectional area

A. N. Bogdanov

Moscow Radiotechnical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: The task of small nonlinear subresonant oscillations of gas in the channel with varying cross-sectional area was considered. It was shown, that this task formally satisfied for the theory of relaxation oscillations, and it may be used for investigation of these problems with methods of this theory. The main peculiarity of used method is calculation of viscosity and heat transition in the based of system equations, that used for modelling the oscillations process. In this case shock waves are introduced as very rapid continuous variations of flow parameters. The advantage of used method is the possibility of numerical calculations of finded equation of subresonant oscillations.
