M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: This article is devoted to comparative analysis of linear and nonlinear interpretation methods of measurements by means of mathematical simulation and computer experiment. The wide class of measurements interpretation problems connected with the evaluation of function on non-exactly determined argument is considered. Classical linear methods, methods of nonlinear reduction and least sguare method etc. are compared. It is shown that nonlinear reduction methods lead to more accurate solution and can be recommended for solving experimental problems.
