Abstract: Turbulent flows of viscous, incompressible liquid with Reynolds numbers $\mathrm{Re}=1.5\cdot10^4-2.2\cdot10^4$ are investigated for cylinders of square cross section positioned near the channel bottom. Turbulent flows are modelled with help of $k-\varepsilon$ models. Analysing of pressure, velocity field, kinetic energy and dissipation distribution in a vicinity of the obstacles is presented. Results of numerical simulations can be used to analyse an influence of the heat and mass transfer on aggregation and crystallisation, to improve a design of technological apparatuses or hydraulic constructions.
