The soliton solution of viscous consolidation problems

V. A. Gordin, A. V. Karakin
Abstract: The class of soliton solutions for viscous consolidation equations is investigated. The existence of the solutions and the qualitative behaviour are analysed. The geophysical applications connected mainly with crust fluid dynamic processes for geological times are considered. The applications cover the fields of mechanics of the fluidized porous crust layers (soft soils, silts, fait zones etc.) and of the partially melted astenosphere (in neglect the phase matrix melt transition). The viscous consolidation models can be used in the engineering geology and the technological processes in media with viscous deformable sceleton.
