Modelling of nonlinear waves in boundary layers based on burgers, Benjamin–Ono and Korteweg–de Vries equations

V. I. Zhuk, S. P. Popov

Computer Centre of USSR Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch
Abstract: Numerical solutions of nonlinear evolutionary equations, which control in certain cases the development of disturbances in boundary layers, are presented. Example is given to deduce Benjamin–Ono equation from four-deck asymptotic structure, thai arises as a result of amplitude growth of waves with parameters near an upper branch of neutral curve. Some aspects concerning the influence of viscous wall sublayer on the moutions of present class are discussed.
