Mathematical modeling of the slot transmission lines with the conductors of finite thickness

M. L. Ena

M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: The problem of finding propagation constants and field components of the slot transmission lines with the conductors of finite thickness is formulated as a boundary value problem for Maxwell's equations. The spectral domain approach is used for the construction of the mathematical model. The spectral properties of the problem are investigated. Galerkin's numerical procedure is applied for the calculation of the propagation constants and field components. The theorem about the convergence of this approximate method is formulated. The numerical results are presented.
