Abstract: The mathematical model of two-phase filtration flow in clay-containing oil reservoir is presented. The influence of degree of water salinity on clays swelling is taken into account. The phenomenon of the change of dynamic porosity and permeability, connected with swelling of the clayey material in reservoir, is described. On the numerical examples both the negative and positive influence of clay swelling on oil recovery factor is shown.
