Modeling of the crystal field, magnetoelastic interactions and random lattice deformations in Pr$_2$Zr$_2$O$_7$

Abstract:
We present the results of simulations of the spectral and thermodynamic properties of frustrated Pr$_2$Zr$_2$O$_7$ crystals
using the distribution function of random strains induced by point defects in an elastically anisotropic continuum.
