Abstract: Studies on the photostability to UV radiation of polymer planar-fiber structures in the form of films with a thickness of 600–800 $\mu$m have been carried out. The films are made of especially pure polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and acrylic resin with the addition of luminophores Coumarin 7, 47, 120; POPOP, NOL8. Luminophor NOL 12 was in polymer fibers produced by LLC “Engineering center for polymer optical fibers”. PMMA optical fibers were attached to the ends of the films, from the output of which the luminescence radiation power was measured as a function of the UV irradiation power and time. The use of Coumarin-type luminophores for the use of planar fiber structures in UV information systems as receiving antennas for optical telecommunications and optical sensors for monitoring physical fields is shown to be promising.
Keywords: photostability, planar fiber structures, luminophores, information systems.
